Are you able to handle the export costs?
Very few sellers are able to finance the export costs. We know that. Many buyers are asking for that.
We know that the buyer has to be able to secure your export costs in some way.
It is in the buyer’s mind all the time that he could be scammed.
On the other hand you as a seller must make yourself and the owners of the gold secure that you are not scammed.
Nobody seller can be asked to pay for the export cost out of the blue.
Thus we have buyers able to issue payment guarantees of different kinds. It could be Performance bonds, Documentary Letter of Credit och Standby Letter of Credit. Very few are prepared to issue SBLC as that basically is illegal for banks to issue such for gold purchase.
Do not think to have a SBLC for one year and one day to trade or monetize it. We will not entertain such ways of creating money.
